Voters whose citizenship cannot be verified must provide specific documentation: a valid U.S. passport, certified birth certificate/consular report, or certificate of citizenship/naturalization. Voters flagged as potential non-citizens must provide proof within 30 days or have their registration canceled. The bill also requires boards to conduct weekly citizenship verification checks, creates new requirements for voter ID matching, and mandates that voter registration systems maintain strict database security measures. Out-of-state voter registrations must be automatically canceled when residents register in Ohio.
