Ban state entities, local entities, and law enforcement agencies from implementing any policies - whether written or unwritten- that restrict the enforcement of federal immigration laws. Any entity that adopts policies violating this legislation risks losing state funding. Under this bill, the attorney general would be authorized to provide legal defense for any entity or agency facing litigation due to their good-faith efforts to comply with these new regulations.
